January 26, 2017, 7:00pm, Falmouth Public Library, Falmouth, Mass. Free screening, sponsored by No Place for Hate – Falmouth.

May 15, 2017, Belmont Hill School, Belmont, Mass. Katrina Browne and James DeWolf Perry are participating in the school’s diversity day, screening Traces of the Trade, offering school-wide discussion, and leading workshops on slavery, race, and privilege.

June 2, 2017, John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation National Symposium, Tulsa, Okla. Katrina Browne leads a screening and discussion of Traces of the Trade.

June 14, 2017, “Giving Voice to Long-Silenced Millions: Interpreting Slavery at Historic Sites,” Charleston, S.C. Kristin Gallas will lead this workshop as part of “Transforming Public History: From Charleston to the Atlantic World,” a conference at the College of Charleston.

June 17, 2017, 1:00pm, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Beverly, N.J. Juneteenth screening of Traces of the Trade, with discussion led by Rev. Jayne Oasin and DeWolf family member Elizabeth Sturges Llerena.

June 23, 2017, 6:30pm, Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa. Public screening and discussion with Katrina Browne. Part of the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa’s Summer Ministry School and Retreat.

July 14, 2017, “Slavery in the Colonial North: An NEH Teachers’ Institute,” Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. James DeWolf Perry will lead a workshop about connecting the history of slavery to its legacy today.

July 30, 2017, 5:00pm, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Washington, D.C. Screening and discussion with producer/director Katrina Browne.

August 14, 2017, Mystic and Noank Library, Mystic, Conn. Screening and discussion with Elizabeth Sturges Llerena.

October 7, 2017, Black History Month, Glasgow, Scotland. Producer/director Katrina Browne will speak at this screening at the Gallery of Modern Art. Sponsored by the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights.

November 6, 2017, Bay College, Escanaba, Mich. Screening as part of the Bay College Diversity Series.
